Teaching
Andrew Pae obtained his Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Southern California (USC) and later pursued his Masters degree in Guitar from the California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts). With his extensive experience in teaching, composition, and guitar performance, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his students.
At CalArts he served as a teaching assistant for the guitar department where he taught classical and flamenco guitar. At Newhall School his teaching extended outside of music to instruct art classes, including painting and drawing. For almost a decade, Andrew has found joy in guiding students of all ages on their musical journey and helping them achieve their goals with the instrument.
His passion for music is evident in his teaching approach as he strives to inspire and guide his students towards reaching their full potential. Whether it is mastering the guitar, exploring the intricacies of composition, or delving into the world of music theory, Andrew is dedicated to providing a comprehensive learning experience for his students.
